In order to be proficient, effective, and productive in any work one must be properly trained. I feel the same is true in working for the Lord Jesus Christ. Millions of Christians who love the Lord Jesus want to be pleasing to Him. For this reason they seek how to serve Him. They learn how to serve Him from reading the Bible, reading spiritual books, and by speaking to other Christians. It is for this cause that I decided to participate in the Full-Time Training in Anaheim. The Full-Time Training in Anaheim is a Bible college that focuses on this very matter. It is a Bible college centered on learning the Truth from the Holy Scriptures and learning how to serve the Lord Jesus practically in a local church.

Since I was a child I have loved God and the Lord Jesus. I have for years sought to be pleasing to Him. I have read the Scriptures many times to know His Word and to know what it means to be a Christian. I have spoken to many Christians in my searching, to learn from them, and I have gone to many Christian meetings to hear speaking concerning the Lord Jesus and His service. Through all of this I have fallen more and more in love with God and with the Bible. I realized, however, that I needed a more concentrated environment that Christ might be my only focus with as little distraction as possible.

Coming to the Full-Time training in Anaheim has more than met that need. Being here for almost two years has been a tremendous lift to my spiritual pursuit and constitution. What I have received from being here is a fuller awareness of the Lord's Word and a deeper appreciation of what it speaks. My understanding of the Bible has increased tremendously because in the Training we are ushered into a consistent schedule that encourages us to read the Bible and other spiritual ministry books that speak concerning the Bible.

The Full-Time Training in Anaheim was established by Witness Lee and other Christian brothers. So many details in the curriculum, the teachers selected, and the overall schedule were overseen through Witness Lee's careful care. I appreciate the fact that someone who knew the Bible and who had a tremendous relationship with the Lord would take the time to cover so many details in a training such as this. Witness Lee loved the Lord Jesus very much and he helped to design the Training that all those attending would also love the Lord Jesus in such a strong and absolute way.

I treasure very much what I have gained concerning the Lord Jesus since I have entered the Full-Time Training. I know that what I am learning here will help me for many years to come. I love the Lord Jesus and I am so appreciative to Him for granting me a way to attend this training. May the Lord Jesus have many believers that would desire to be in His work.
